Hi all, nice work on the quiz today, I just finished grading them. The class average for third period was 91.7% and for fourth period 93.7%, I guess I'll have to make them harder! Your grades are up on teacherease.com, you will get the hard copy of your quiz back when we next have class on Monday.
For Monday I would like you to submit a document either typed or neatly written with the following information from the Earth Material Absorption Lab we did yesterday:
-Experimental Question
-Hypothesis
-Manipulated Variable
-Responding Variable
-(3) Controlled Variables
-The Procedure
Most of this you should already have in your science notebook. You should spend the most time on your procedure. Here are some guidelines for your procedure.
-Should be well written and complete
-Easily replicated by someone else
-Use of personal pronouns avoided
-Is written in narrative form and avoids the use of "steps" Ex: First we did this, second we did this, etc.
